Golden Insights
The eagle is an awe inspiring, beautiful bird that is both majestic and mystical in its symbolism. It is symbolic of illumination of spirit, healing, and creation (Animal Speak 136). I am always in awe of eagles, and the golden eagle is quite fascinating to me. It has quite a noble and warm energy to it. When you see them, they always command attention, and you just cannot walk past them. The many dimensions in its colors are also quite beautiful.
The golden eagle empowers us to have a higher, more expansive perspective to be able to see new dimensions in our lives. It teaches us to perceive and reflect on the many aspects of ourselves. We are born with unique blends of many elements to our personalities, yet we often do not have the chance, or the motivation to explore them all. Reflection is needed in self discovery, that leads us to see ourselves in a new light.
Illumination occurs when we highlight in our awareness, the deeper aspects of ourselves. It is in the act of listening deeper in the silence that our spirit speak to us. So often we ignore our spirit that in search of our materialistic endeavours, we have unknowingly put ourselves in spiritual poverty. The Golden eagle calls for us to do deeper reflections to listen to our spirit within. It is the space where the very essence of ourselves speak, yet we often do not hear.
Listening deep within could reveal to us a blueprint of our authentic selves. Expressing oneself in a genuine authentic way, opens the floodgates of our passions. Exploring these passions can be rewarding, yet also can be terrifying. It does push us though, to live fully
and to our greatest potentials, risks, and all.
The symbolism of the Golden eagle also calls for us to use that inherent power of creation. We are all born to be co-creators. In simpler examples, we can express our creative abilities through art, music, writing, technology or in whatever niche we may find ourselves in. In a bigger sense, we are entrusted to create the tapestry of our lives in any path we choose to walk. We have the power to plan, chart our course, and visualize any outcome we choose to have manifest. Yes, we are that powerful!
So, it is time to reflect. What makes our hearts sing? When was the last time we let our inner child play? Are we feeding that aspects of ourselves, or are we constantly being enslaved by conventions and societal dictates that we are willingly sacrificing our happiness? Are we walking the right life path, or are we in a path charted for us by others? These questions are all worthy of explorations.
So, reflect, then take flight my friends! Fearlessly spread those wings wide, and soar. Use those keen insights, and reach your highest peaks, with passion! Time to stop existing and start living!

Gentle Defiance
Gentle Defiance
The Flamingo is a beautiful bird. It certainly catches the eyes of the artist in me who loves colors! This bird is quite fascinating to me, because it embodies a lot of contradictions that make it unique and beautiful.
Flamingo is a gentle and very graceful bird. It exudes calmness and gentleness, yet its very existence is, on in itself a defiance to nature’s laws! It is pink, no matter where it resides. Its nature dictates it to not bother with camouflaging or blending with its environment. It seems like it’s always out of place, and yet it is exactly where it should be.
Authenticity is what this bird shouts to me. In this world where we could feel the pressure of trying to be like the others, to blend in and belong, or ride a fleeting societal trend, we oftentimes forget to live our true authentic selves. We often fear judgment from others for being different, forgetting the fact that all of us have each of our own unique abilities and personalities, that make each of us different from the next person.
Like the Flamingo, being different is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can be a great thing! Discovering our uniqueness, and bravely living it out can make for a richer, more fulfilling life. Each one of us, with our uniqueness, can create a beautifully blended tapestry in our society, full of colors and unique textures!
With my Flamingo painting, and my poem, I hope to convey a message of encouragement, to embody authenticity and courage to assert oneself and live your most authentic life. It is your life, and you should live it in your own terms. You are unique and beautiful just the way you are! You have so much to give to the world, quirks, and all. Shine boldly friends! Have the courage, defy the dictates of society, and just be your true authentic selves! Be that pink flamingo even in the darkest swamp! Enjoy the coming week!

Emancipation
The butterfly is a symbol of transformation and rebirth. It definitely had to go through a process of being confined in a dark chrysalis for days, and undergo a great transformation, just to earn its wings.
Once transformation has completed, emancipation happens. It breaks through the confines of the chrysalis, equipped with wings and limbs, and new set of senses for flight. Then it soars high to unknown spaces, relying on instinct and inner compass to survive in its new life. It lives as a different version of itself, up to its fullest life potential.
Emancipation is freedom. Just like the butterfly, self-transformation leads us to freedom from restrictions, self-imposed or otherwise, so that we can soar to our greatest potentials. We survive and learn from the past, then we create a new life with the new energies, so that we can take ourselves into a better future.
We owe it to ourselves to live, to push through our limits, and live our greatest potentials. So, spread those wings and fly my friends!

Bravely unmask fears, the greatest of illusions
The makings of a mind conditioned to be imprisoned
Cut the bondage of limitations
The ties preventing you from leaping beyond

Sing to the music of your soul

Recognize the power of God working within you
Within you is a grand design of your being,

Actualize the embodiment of God

declaration of self, free and abundant
