A Few weeks back, I got invited to submit a few of my artworks for a chance to get published in Spotlight, a Contemporary Art Magazine, by the Circle Foundation for the Arts. The publisher chose the work I titled, “Lilies of Spring”.

A beautiful bouquet of Lilies that I grew in my garden gave me a great inspiration one Spring afternoon. So, I painted them together with other flowers that complemented them well. I used acrylics, on an 18” by 24” canvas, and produced this work featured below.

Reproductions of this work, together with another one of my artworks I titled, “The Bend”, are currently part of an exhibition, in collaboration with Luna Grande Art and Coffee Co., in Kadikoy, Istanbul, Turkey, called “Colorscape”. This exhibition runs from October 28, 2023 to November 3, 2023.
